In scene 9, I liked it because everyone saw their families again and they gave up the zoot suits just to stop the violence and attention. Although, I was confused about Alice and Henry's feelings towards each other.

"That's bullshit. What about what we shared in prison? I've never been so closed to anybody." pg. 90
Henry said this quote. He said it Alice because situations like what Henry was in can bring people in your life to help you and Alice was one and after all the arguing they did, it brought them closer together and now that Henry is out of prison, she leaves to make her life better.

Question:
Why does Alice say to Henry, she is the that is out of place ?

In scene 8, i like it of course because they win the appeal.

" Freedom!!!" pg.87

The people scream triumph. Freedom is said because no one thought that they would ever win but they did and people rushed the boys with hugs and kisses with tears of joy.

In scene 7, I liked it because Alice was the hope for Henry and Henry realized that you have to believe it and trust in Alice.

" It's stupid for us to fight like his. I look forward to coming here for weeks. Just to talk to you, to be with you, to see your eyes." pg. 84

Alice says this quote. She says it to Henry. She says it because whenever they meet, they always argue and she was tired of it. When they argue they get nowhere and she wants Henry to understand that she wants to help him and not be his enemy.

Question:
Is there a chance that Henry and Alice have feelings for each other?

In scene 6, I also didn't like because the navy sailors had no right to strip the zoot suiter. The white people took zoot suits to make white people clothes look bad or exaggerate the clothes. Zoot Suits were only made to have style and to make mexicans, Filipinos, blacks look sharp.

" The Press distorted the very meaning of the word "zoot suit." All it is for you guys is another way to say Mexican. But the ideal of the original chuco was to look like a diamond, to look sharp, hip, bonaroo, finding a style of urban survival in the rural skirts and outskirts of the brown metropolis of Los, cabron." pg. 80

Pachuco says this quote. Pachuco says it to the press. He says this because the press is just as wrong as the white people and Pachuco told them what zoot suits meant and why they were wore. It was for individuality and to show that the can look as sharp as everyone else instead of just wearing straw hats and overalls.

In Scene 5, I didn't like it because Pachuco was being negative about being in solitary. Pachuco has no confidence in getting justice and Henry wouldn't let it get in his spirit.

" I got to know why I'm here, ese! I've got to have a reason for being here. " pg.77
Henry says this quote. Henry says it to Pachuco and he says it because he wants Pachuco to understand that he can't be punished for something that he didn't do.

Question:
Why does Pachuco have no hope in winning justice in the appeal?
